Success strategies in challenging times
Get an up-to-the minute report on the state of business and the economy from the executive editor of BusinessWeek and see how even in challenging times the greatest catalysts for innovation and growth are very near at hand.
John Byrne is the executive editor for BusinessWeek magazine, the editor-in-chief of BusinessWeek.com and the former editor-in-chief of Fast Company magazine. He joined Fast Company in April of 2003, succeeding founding editors Alan Webber and Bill Taylor.
He is the author of eight books, including Straight from the Gut, the highly acclaimed collaboration with former General Electric Co. Chairman and CEO Jack Welch, which has sold more than 1.5 million copies in hardcover around the world.
Julie Gilbert left Best Buy, where she was a Senior Vice President and the architect of its very powerful and successful WOLF (Womens Leadership Forum) program to start and operate WOLF Means Business, a global
consulting company that aims to help companies create significant financial growth by helping them do a better job of authentically serving the now dominant female market.
During her time with us, Julie will share her ideas around the topic of Uniting Unheard Voices of Growth..in Business, in Communities and with People. Learn how to invite previously unheard voices--mostly women and ethnic minorities--to tell us how we can work with them to increase sales, generate new sources of income through game-changing innovations, and build an organization that they--and we--will be proud and happy to serve.
